Merry Christmas

Compared to last Christmas, this one is a particularly mild and rainy story. All the more reason to spend it by the fire place with your crew of choice.

 

Santa has already embarked on his journey from the North, but the Elves are still about, eyes and ears open. Better be on your best Powderbunny behavior, which means spreading a little extra Christmas cheer to those around you.

It´s been a seemingly quiet summer in the Powderbunny burrow. But don´t be fooled. There´s been a lot more brewing than all that Bavarian Weissbier just before Oktoberfest, in a little brown hut, on an Island not so far away.

So the ice in the river finally broke. or so they say. this bunny took up and left for greener pastures.

Publishing the last of the winter pics... it sure was fantastic while it lasted. thank god it's over for now.

A foot and a half of packed snow will soon turn into deeper than deep puddles of mud, yuck.

Lessons in Bunnylife I

Sometimes life throws you a curve. But apparently, if you're able to catch it, amazing things happen.

Powder gone sour

A foot and half of snow plus a day and half of rain, makes for soaking wet paws.

We have a feeling this is just the beginning, and already we've had enough.

This bunny is going into hibernation.


And if their is any truth to this formula, it sure isn't helping...

Travelling bunnystyle: Part II

Travelling also provides the perfect opportunity to put your gear to the test.

Might your thighs mysteriously start swelling due to the intense strain that only telemark-skiing can put on your poor legs, it is indeed an advantage to be part of the Powderbunny crew.

I am proud to announce that despite slight transfigurations, the Powderbunny beanies never let us down, and fit perfectly throughout the entire trip. (They also help camouflage any potential blushing for -once again- not having trained for the physical endurance in advance...)

Also, no matter how many Silserbuttergipfeli, Buttergipfeli, Dinkelgipfeli, Bratwurst mit Rösti, Züpfe, Spenatkuchen, Zwiebelkuchen, Früchtekuchen, Birchermüesli, Öpfustrudel, Raclette dinners, cheese, chocolate and Christmas cookies were guiltlessly feasted upon throughout the day and washed down with various qualities and quantities of beverages, the Powderbunny beanies were most forgiving the following morning. Sweet indeed!

This bunny is safely back in her burrow, after a fantastic trip.

Travelling not only broadens your horizons, it also helps you see yourself from another perspective. This time around, it has been proven that wearing a Powderbunny original beanie, will make your surroundings severely question your real age (yourself being highly aware of the fact, that you, undeniably, are 28).

Imagine yourself purchasing a bottle of fine wine, at one of the high-end grocery stores in town, 5:30pm on a Monday night, - and being asked for ID, in a country where the legal age for buying wine is… 16.
